The City of Prelog has been awarded the Healthy Meal Standard certificate

At the Croata Insulanus Museum, a ceremonial presentation of the Healthy Meal Standard certificate was held for the Fijolica Children’s Kindergarten from Prelog. Fijolica Children’s Kindergarten is the first preschool institution in Međimurje County to receive this certificate and the third across all of Croatia. “The City of Prelog is extremely proud of its kindergarten, Fijolica Children’s Kindergarten, which, by adopting this international standard, above all increases the quality of the children’s experience in this preschool institution,” remarked Mayor Ljubomir Kolarek in his brief address.

The certification was carried out by Bureau Veritas, a leading international certification, verification, and inspection company established in 1828 and headquartered in Paris. Today, it operates in more than 140 countries worldwide with an international network of over 75,000 skilled employees, in more than 1,400 offices and 330 laboratories. After the successful completion of the certification process, a Bureau Veritas certificate is issued to confirm the compliance of the nutrition quality management system with the requirements of the Healthy Meal Standard.

The certificate was presented by Diana Gluhak Spajić and Bureau Veritas representative Vanja Kokanović, and was received by Mayor Ljubomir Kolarek and the director of Fijolica Kindergarten, Kristina Posavec. The City of Prelog also received the recognition “City of Healthy Kindergarten Nutrition.” Director Kristina Posavec expressed great pride and satisfaction, highlighting her special appreciation for all the staff of Fijolica Kindergarten and extending heartfelt thanks to the City of Prelog and everyone who contributed to achieving this certification. The brief ceremony concluded with a presentation of the new kindergarten menu, adapted to the Healthy Meal Standard.
